Welcome to Bluegrass Academy Childcare

Where Your Child's Well-being Comes First

History

Bluegrass Academy Childcare was founded in 2004 by high school friends Kandi Alvey and Beckie Hoffman, who recognized a need for quality childcare within Louisville, Kentucky. After opening their first location in Jeffersontown, Louisville, KY, on Ruckreigel Parkway they expanded the daycare into the Mt. Washington in 2011. After both locations proved successful Beckie and Kandi decided to open two other locations one on Hurstbourne Lane in 2015 and another Mt. Washington location in 2020. As they have expanded, they have partnered with local and state government to provide equitable care to children from all socioeconomic backgrounds, and have won countless awards for providing excellent care.
